We’ve scoured the archives for Grimsby memorabilia dating back to the 1920s to mark Great Grimsby Day 2022.

Held annually on January 22, it’s a day meant to celebrate the city and all its people – and the memories it has created for so many over the years.

It doesn’t matter if you were born and raised in the Grimsby area or just moved to North East Lincolnshire, it holds a special place in so many of our hearts.

Maybe you yearn to walk to Ada Ice Cream in the summer or maybe you have fond memories of your parents or grandparents coming home from working on Grimsby’s fishing piers or after being on board the trawlers. Or maybe you followed Town of Grimsby over the years, at home and away.
